Maintenance and Organization of Recipes

Maintaining Standards of Quality, Organization, and Cleanliness
Maintaining Standards of Positive, Happy Work Environment
Production of Menu Items and Daily Special
Organization and Production of Off Premise Catering

This is a "working" chefs position that has this typical day:
- A hour of paperwork including scheduling, ordering, organizing lists
- Receiving goods and organizing kitchen
- Butchering and cooking specials while supervising staff
- Training staff on new recipes and retraining to insure consistency of current dishes
- Prepping for catering
- Pre-Meal with front house staff explaining specials, needs, wants, and other news for the shift.
- Expediting service
- Closing up kitchen, organizing for the next day, and cleaning for next shift
- Supervising and thanking staff upon exit of shift
Qualifications
- Inventory management experience
- Food service management skills
- Strong background in kitchen management
- Proficiency in budgeting
- Banquet and fine dining experience preferred
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
