Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a UX/UI Designer with specific Native Mobile App experience for a leading retail/healthcare related company.

You’ll join the Product team to work on complex, enterprise UX/Product App work.


This is a remote/EST opportunity, about 12 months in length.


  • This is a Sr. UX/UI role , and the portfolio must show strong Visual/UI and Native Mobile (preferably iOS and Android).
  • The portfolio must be clean and strong, and they must be able to show work and explain the whole process in the portfolio.
  • The candidate must be a strong communicator and must be able to present with polish to executive leaders.


Responsibilities:

  • Has a strong portfolio of work that includes exceptionally crafted native app design and mobile best practices
  • Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in native app design, including IxD and visual design
  • Has proven experience in driving and delivering design from initial concepts to in-market experiences
  • Has 3 years of experience leading design collaboration sessions with a range of stakeholders
  • Has proven experience defining design direction, communicating rationale to a non-design audience, and successful advocacy for design decisions
  • Is fluent in Figma
  • Has experience working with and contributing to design systems
  • Has the ability and/or curiosity to learn how to define and lead design processes
  • Can adapt to change given clear goals


Requirements:

  • Has experience working in a large-scale digital product environment
  • Has experience delivering digital products for complex businesses
  • Can look ahead of current work and articulate future possibilities
  • Familiarity with development tools and processes
