Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee the global logistics spend for a large manufacturing client of ours. Primary objective to being will be the execution of a large Request for Proposal (RFP) for potential logistics providers. This role is critical in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring cost-effective and efficient logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize global logistics spend, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
• Lead the execution of a comprehensive RFP process for selecting logistics providers.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics and supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
