Special Education Teacher (Moderate Disabilities, K-8)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a contract this school year in Suffolk County, MA.

Role Overview:

Special Education Teacher with a license in Moderate Disabilities (K-8 preferred. This is a full-time contract position, working closely with General Education teachers to support students' success in inclusive classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an IEP caseload of approximately 15 students.
• Co-teach 2 ELA and 2 Math classes daily in collaboration with General Education counterparts.
• Lead 1 intervention block each day to provide targeted support for students.

Qualifications:

• Special Education Moderate Disabilities license (K-8 preferred).
• Proven experience teaching students with moderate disabilities in an educational setting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
