Job Description

Position Overview:

Onward Search is excited to partner with a school in Clark County, WA, to find a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, in-person position. The role is set to begin in January and will continue through the remainder of the school year.



Details You Should Know:

Location: In-person only (no hybrid or virtual options).

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:00 pm (flexible)

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours.

Caseload: Manage RBTs and support 7 schools

Student Age/Grade Level: Elementary, middle and high school


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school teams to design and implement evidence-based behavior interventions.
  • Supervise and train BCBAs and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
  • Lead development of functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and design data-driven interventions.
  • Plan and deliver training on behavior analysis and interventions.
  • Create procedures and training materials for addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Facilitate workshops on positive behavioral supports, crisis intervention, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and the mental health community to support student goals.
  • Supervise staff implementing behavior plans and seek expert consultation as needed.
  • Utilize assistive technologies and programs to support students.
  • Maintain licensure through ongoing professional development and required continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality, legal, and district requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Valid ESA BCBA certification for Washington State (or in process via OSPI).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws for special education.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Skilled in integrating standards into practice and using data to improve learning.
  • Experience with IEP-Online or equivalent systems.
  • Training/experience in PBIS, ABA, Collaborative Problem Solving, TEACCH, assistive technology, and social-emotional learning.
  • Proficient in CPI crisis intervention techniques or equivalent.
  • Competent in data tracking, IEP development, and tools like Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and technological communication skills.
