We are seeking a Chef de Cuisine to assist in oversight of the Heart of House.
Job Overview
- Oversee the culinary operations and management of a culinary staff and heart-of-the-house employees
- Provide guidance and direction for all day-to-day operations
- Directly oversee the hiring, training, coaching, development and discipline for culinary staff
- Plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food in a safe, sanitary and cost-effective manner
- Ensure compliance with food handlers and sanitation standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly management administrative duties including operations reports, financial documentation, human resources/staff management paperwork, standard operating procedures, safety and sanitations checklists, and ordering and inventory documentation
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the team
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills
Education
- Culinary Degree or Equivalent Training
