The Proposal Manager role includes various responsibilities and marketing support efforts. Under the direction of the Sr Marketing & Communications Manager and office leadership, the person in this role will manage the development of marketing and pursuit proposals focused on business development for the firm. Additionally, they will support the writing, design, and delivery of presentations, other collateral, and promotional materials to help win pursuits.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

• Write, design, edit, and produce marketing materials including portfolios, qualifications packages, proposals, and presentations.
• Support and coordinate internal, partner, and subcontractor teams on pursuits; work with team(s) to ensure high-quality, custom material is delivered on time.
• Distill RFP/Q submission requirements; Schedule and track production of proposals/qualifications materials to meet deadlines.
• Proofread and edit for readability and compliance with RFP/Q requirements.
• Support marketing research initiatives.
• Support principals in business development tracking, leads, and outreach.
• Learn and maintain deep knowledge of EHDD’s global portfolio of work and expertise.
• Support the firm’s mission and core values.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience in a marketing and/or business development function.
• Architecture/Engineering/Construction Industry experience and knowledge of industry marketing fundamentals and A/E/C terminology are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
• Established ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and organizational skills.
• Established portfolio of professional samples that demonstrate exceptional visual and verbal communication, and strong creative writing and editing skills.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with the expectation of being in the office four days a week, preferably based in San Francisco. Candidates MUST have some experience in the A/E/C industry.

The base salary is one component of EHDD’s competitive compensation package for employees. We consider a variety of factors, including skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity, and geographic location in determining the salary offered. Employees are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The posted salary range represents EHDD's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
