We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager with a proven track record in self-storage and ground-up construction. The ideal candidate will excel in managing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This person will be working in our Plano, Texas office.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, schedules, and contracts.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead project meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and document key project milestones and decisions.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in self-storage and ground-up commercial construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and strong familiarity with construction processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
