One Tech Engineering is searching for a Contract Manager for a position located in either Minneapolis, Minnesota or Denver, Colorado. The Contract Manager will support the DSM (Demand-Side Management), Marketing, and Corporate Services teams by executing contract amendments, negotiating terms, and managing low-spend contracts.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2 to 3 years of experience in a large, matrixed corporate organization.
Contract Manager Responsibilities:
- Execute contract amendments and manage the approval and signature process within the Coupa system.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal procedures.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for smaller-scale vendor contracts.
- Provide support for subcontracts as needed.
- Manage low-spend contracts within the Property Services category.
- Handle agreements for localized needs and specific requirements.
- Assist the category management team with ongoing tasks and initiatives.
- Manage smaller-scale procurement events to enable the team to focus on enterprise-wide, high-value projects.
- Oversee one-year, low-value contracts requiring quick turnaround.
- Manage amendments to existing contracts, including extensions, budget increases, and other minor modifications.
- Focus on low-value, tactical contracts, handling routine agreements with minimal supervision and negotiation.
Requirements of the Contract Manager:
- 2-3 years of experience in a large, matrixed corporate environment.
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation, amendments, and execution processes.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate procurement and supply chain practices, including sourcing strategies and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in using Coupa.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, contract tracking, and supporting procurement activities.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus for exposure to supply chain and financial systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Utility industry experience is a plus, but not required.
