Job Title : Mold Department Worker

Location : Bessemer, AL

Pay : $20-$28/hr (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to join a local client's team as a Mold Department Worker in the refractories industry. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting unique, customer-specific molds using advanced technologies, including CNC machines and a large 3D printer. Every project will be distinct, offering an exciting opportunity for innovation and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create specialized molds tailored to customer specifications.
• Operate and program CNC machines (using Mastercam).
• Utilize a large 3D printer for custom mold production.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Use measurement devices such as tape measures and other tools to verify dimensions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records using Microsoft Office tools.
• Support occasional evening and weekend work (overtime as needed).
• Collaborating with production/mold floor to transfer parts to and from design to departments.

Critical Requirements

• CAD Skills : Preferred experience with Autodesk Inventor.
• CNC Programming : Proficiency with Mastercam software is essential.
• Blueprint Reading : Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Measurement Tools : Skilled in using tapes and other measurement devices.
• Microsoft Office : Basic knowledge of tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs consistently, and up to 50lbs on occasion.
• Must be able to walk around the plant consistently through entire shift.
