About the Role:
This position will be primarily focused on research and development, design, and testing, collaborating with other functional teams and 3rd party partners.
Responsibilities:
- Continual improvement and innovation of existing products
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and manuals
- Create and implement improvements, procedures and specifications
- Drive product and process improvement
- Lead research and development projects
- Manage client interaction to ensure project projection and successful delivery
- Ensure that product development and manufacturing procedures adhere to OSHA standards
- Estimate costs and timeline associated with the development of a product from beginning to end
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- P.Eng designation
- 5 + years experience in heavy equipment manufacturing
- Highly proficient in SolidWorks and CAD engineering software
- Project management skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information
- Ability to work on multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
