Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled C# Developer to join their Global Trading Solutions team. This role involves working on the proprietary electronic FX platform, contributing to the development, enhancement, and optimization of a mission-critical, low-latency trading system. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low-latency electronic trading systems and a strong technical background in C#. Experience working with Broadway technology is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain code for the proprietary electronic FX trading platform.
• Enhance existing features and functionality of the platform to meet business and technical requirements.
• Optimize system performance, ensuring low latency and high throughput in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring platform stability and performance.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional development experience in C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven experience working with low-latency electronic trading systems.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Broadway Technology or familiarity with other electronic trading platforms is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of FX trading or financial markets is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FIX protocol and market connectivity.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and microservices architecture.
