Job Title: Call Center Representative


Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Call Center Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and call center operations. This role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of assigned plans, providing exceptional customer service, and performing various administrative tasks related to retirement and health and welfare benefits. This position is 100% onsite.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned Plan(s) and effectively apply this knowledge in all job functions.
  • Provide written, verbal, or face-to-face customer service by responding to and documenting telephone and written inquiries in accordance with various Plan(s) benefits.
  • Update files, including documenting system notes of conversations or actions taken.
  • Perform tasks associated with the administration of retirement and health and welfare benefits, such as:
  • Processing and/or sending mailers or required forms as requested by members.
  • Processing and/or sending correspondence related to member or claims status.
  • Processing enrollments and updating member information in applicable system(s).
  • Distribute communications related to regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate Action Requests to appropriate departments requesting adjustments to claims, retirement, and/or eligibility as necessary.
  • Follow up to ensure successful completion of Action Requests.
  • Research and resolve complex and technical issues and irregularities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a call center or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle complex and technical issues with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and databases.
  • Knowledge of retirement and health and welfare benefits is a plus.


Compensation:

  • Pay range: $20/hr to $22.50/hr.
  • This is a contract position with a high possibility of being hired on permanently.
