They are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join their growing team and contribute to their groundbreaking mission.

The Opportunity:

As the Technical Lead for Data Platform Engineering, you will oversee the design, architecture, and development of a robust platform that prioritizes scalability, security, and reliability. Partnering closely with ML engineers and data scientists, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing backend services that drive AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop a scalable, secure platform while ensuring robust performance.
• Create tools to validate AI-driven insights against clinical benchmarks and standards.
• Dedicate 75% of your time to hands-on coding and code reviews, primarily in Python.
• Collaborate with machine learning teams to refine backend systems and facilitate seamless deployments.
• Resolve platform challenges, particularly in areas like monitoring, authentication, and streaming.
• Develop an integrated platform for monitoring AI solutions and assessing their clinical impact.
• Support the growth of the engineering team through mentorship and recruitment efforts.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in backend development using Python , with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems.
• Proficiency with cloud tools like GCP, AWS, Azure
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture .
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with Gen AI , vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Llama Index), and LLMs.
• Proven ability to take full ownership of platform development and ensure its continuous enhancement.
