Opportunity Description
Project Engineering
Plan and implement engineering programs, develop and maintain a schedule and budget, provide reports on the status of project milestones, control expenditures, coordinate project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages, assign and oversee project personnel, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, provide status and progress reports to customers, project team, and management on project milestones.
Plastic Part:
Review product design and offer design assistance. Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM ) assessments utilizing Moldflow or Moldex3D .
Tooling:
Coordinate outside tooling resources, providing detailed direction on tool design, tool steel and tool construction. Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
Manufacturing:
Collaborate with manufacturing personnel in the development of automation, end of arm tooling and process enhancements for new tooling and existing tooling projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of plastics injection molding industry experience
- Project Engineering in injection molding and tooling
- SolidWorks, MoldFlow, and Microsoft Office is required
- IQMS preferred
- Knowledge of various thermoplastic materials
