Our client is seeking an innovative Director of Quality to shape the future of their quality strategy in this newly created, high-visibility role. The Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for elevating the quality standards across products, processes, and customer relationships. This role starts with overseeing three plants (650 employees) and includes:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement quality goals aligned with organizational strategy.
• Operational Excellence: Lead efforts to address customer non-conformance issues, implement advanced quality systems, and ensure top-tier performance in specialty products like food-grade lime.
• Team Development: Inspire and manage a skilled team of quality professionals while fostering collaboration across departments.
• Regulatory Compliance: Oversee adherence to industry and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, FDA, USDA, kosher, and others.
• Global Vision: Lay the groundwork for expanding responsibilities to regional and global sites.

Your Expertise

Our client is seeking a candidate with:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years in quality management, with a preference for global oversight. Strong experience in manufacturing, particularly in industries such as cement or food-grade production.
• Leadership Excellence: Proven track record in process improvement (Six Sigma certification preferred), team leadership, and managing organizational change.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in quality management systems, statistical analysis, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
