Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Windows, Linux, and Cloud systems, as well as a strong familiarity with common scripting languages. A preference will be given to candidates who have experience with electronic faxing platforms such as RightFax and eFax.

Key Responsibilities

System Management

1. Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
2. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes and enhancements.
3. Carry out regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system integrity and security.

Cloud Systems

1. Administer and manage cloud environments.
2. Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, and cloud-based applications.
3. Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Scripting and Automation

1. Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
2. Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Perl for system automation and management.
3. Create and maintain documentation for scripts and automation processes.

Electronic Faxing Platforms

1. Manage and support electronic faxing platforms such as RightFax and eFax.
2. Ensure the reliability and availability of faxing services and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
3. Integrate faxing solutions with other systems and applications as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows and Linux environments.
3. Proven experience managing cloud environments.
4. Experience with electronic faxing platforms (RightFax, eFax) is a strong plus.

Technical Skills

1. Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers.
2. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
3. Familiarity with common scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
