Project Overview

As an Android/IOS developer, you will be joining our medical device client to assist on multiple projects within its Pelvic Health portfolio. They are implementing a software that is key to an implantable medical device that helps patients resolve pelvic health issues within the sacral nerve area. This project is projected to be a yearlong, but they have a huge backlog of projects after the year – so this person will not run out of work to do.

Role Responsibilities

• Senior to Principal Full Stack iOS/Android Developer (8 years min)
• 80-90% of this job is coding, writing software designs, and unit testing their own code and 10% reviewing peers’ code.
• Unit testing: They use Junit for testing code. TestFlight is used for app releases, and they manually test a lot of their own work.
• Currently working on an iOS project, but this will shift to Android once it is complete, so proficiency in both is required (main languages and suites: Swift, SwiftUI, Jetpack, and XML). Backend will always remain in Java and/or Kotlin.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IOS development with Swift UI/Swift
• 5+ years Android development experience with XML and/or Jetpack)
• 8+ years of experience with backend platforms such as Java or Kotlin
• CICD experience with Jenkins or Gitlab
• Agile Experience
