Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Location: Rodeo, CA (Local candidates preferred)

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Must have experience with PLC Programming. Must have experience with DCS systems. Must have experience with Structured Text. Must have experience with heavy industrial or batch manufacturing experience.

Looking to have someone start right away.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement process instrumentation and control systems.
• Create designs that provide reliable and cost-effective instrument and control systems.
• Collaborate with process designers to develop process design specifications.
• Develop operating procedures and training manuals.
• Write purchase and construction specifications.
• Write and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Conduct audits of instrumentation installations and process control loops.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in Instrumentation and Controls.
• Direct experience in a refinery, chemical, and/or manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed control systems, particularly Honeywell DCS hardware.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
