CV Resources is partnering with a valued government/education client to find a skilled Senior Accountant for a temporary role This position will support various accounting functions, including reconciliations, quarterly reporting, journal entries, inventory management, purchasing, and process improvement for several months. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in general accounting, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform general account reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with quarterly financial reporting (including L&I) and other ad hoc reports. Create, review, and approve journal entries. Manage inventory tracking and valuation. Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and assisting with RFPs/bids. Assist with process updates and improvements. Provide support for A/P and A/R tasks. Handle project-based research and analysis as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5 years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting. Strong experience in inventory management and purchasing. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
