Senior Accountant Job in Phoenix, AZ

LHH is conducting a search for a Senior Accountant in the Phoenix area who is has hands on General Ledger experience. Our client is an industry front-runner in the energy and technology space with a dynamic work environment and offering great benefits. This candidate will need to have proficient Excel experience, as well as strong analytical skills.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Gather financial material to prepare General Ledger entries
• Interpret and report financial and operational information to management
• Sustain adequate documentation to support all accounting related transaction
• Summarize financial standing by accumulating data and preparing balance sheet and profit/loss statements
• Preparations of financial statements, management reports and extensive account analysis.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 year’s experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA Preferred not required
• Strong GL experience
