  • Department: Respiratory Therapy
  • NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT
  • Job Duties: ABG's, EKG, all Resp duties
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7: Yes
  • Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift?: No, days M-F
  • Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house?: Yes
  • RT Equipment: PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 bipap
    Job Requirements
  • ND Respiratory Therapy License required at the time of submission
  • Required Certifications: CRT or RRT (preferred), BLS, ACLS
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Independent
  • How many years of experience required?: 1
  • Previous Travel experience required?: No
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts & Scheduling Details: 12 hour shifts 7-7, rotates days and nights
  • Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd weekend
  • Holiday Requirements: Yes
  • RTO needed upfront: 7 or less days per 13 week contract
  • Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
    Unit Specific Information
  • Types of patients: all age ranges 0-100
  • Areas covered: ER, inpatient and some outpatient
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 - 2 weeks depending upon experience
  • No self-scheduling, no block scheduling
    Additional Details
  • Fit Testing / Facial Hair: Note that if a clinician has facial hair, they must pass either the Primary or Secondary fit test.
