Shift: Evening and Weekend shifts (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm)
Position Overview:
Pride Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team in Concord, New Hampshire. This is a 40-hour per week, 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians with experience in acute care settings who are ready to make an impact in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and dispensation of medications.
- Support sterile compounding (preferred but not required).
- Work closely with pharmacists to ensure medication safety and accuracy.
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Accurately document medication administration and other necessary details.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support patient care through medication counseling and assistance.
- Handle administrative tasks related to prescriptions and patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Adhere to hospital and regulatory policies, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications:
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience : Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in an acute care setting, preferably within the last 3-4 years. Sterile compounding experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Certifications : Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCE or ExCPT) through an accredited program (preferred but not required). Sterile compounding certification is a plus.
- Registration : Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of New Hampshire.
