Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Morristown, New Jersey, United States. This travel opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment & Inventory : Accurately fills orders for pharmacist review, prepares extemporaneous medications, stocks supplies, replenishes carts/kits, and performs cart/bin exchanges, ensuring proper documentation and noting issues for pharmacist follow-up.
• Distribution & Returns : Manages requests via phone, window, fax, and computer professionally. Distributes orders to pharmacists as needed, delivers medications using various methods, and handles returns from nursing stations.
• Teamwork & Strategic Goals : Actively supports departmental and organizational objectives, assists team members, and adapts to varying roles and responsibilities while ensuring compliance with coverage guidelines.
• Sterile Preparations & Automated Dispensing : Prepares IVs aseptically, batches IV medications, manages automated dispensing machines, and ensures proper handling of hazardous drugs while maintaining detailed documentation.
• Inventory Management & Customer Service : Repackages medications, checks expirations, processes recalled medications, answers inquiries professionally, supports performance improvement initiatives, and assists pharmacists in maintaining efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Licensure & Certification :

• Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification.

Pay Range: $16,30/ hour (Negotiable)
