Job Title: Pharmacist In charge
Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Pay: $58/hr - 65/hr depending on experience + All standard benefits available.
Location: Glasgow, KY
Shift: Our pharmacy hours are 8 am - 6 pm M-F and 8 am - 1 pm Sat.
4 x 10 hours shifts. Every 3rd Saturday.

Job Summary:
- Manage all aspects of an independent, retail pharmacy.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Drive pharmacy initiatives and contribute to special projects.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and potential interactions.
- Execute therapeutic optimization programs.
- Provide medication therapy management to improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and medication inventories.
- Administer vaccinations, other injections, and point of care testing.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to pharmacy services and patient care.
- Manage staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and daily workflow.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Kentucky pharmacist license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Team player
- Experience in retail pharmacy preferred.
- Patient advocate mentality.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medication dispensing and documentation.
