Technical Sales Manager ( Houston)

Location: Remote based in Houston

As they continue to grow in the U.S. market, they seek a talented Technical Sales Manager with expertise in centrifugal compressors to join our team.


Brief:


The Technical Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving the centrifugal compressor business by developing new markets, building client relationships, and ensuring the solutions meet customer and industry standards. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, entrepreneurial thinking, and exceptional relationship management skills.


The role and the responsibilities:


The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales activities in the US. Additionally, he/she will:


  • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored compressor solutions.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the centrifugal compressor market.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure that the compressor specifications meet the client's needs and industry standards.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients and at industry events, focused on centrifugal compressors.
  • Provide technical support and consultation throughout the sales process and after product delivery of centrifugal compressors.
  • Monitor industry and competitive compressor products to identify future trends
  • Develop new business areas, sales markets, and products. This includes new customers and partners.
  • Create business plans and strategies.
  • Develop existing business areas.



Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or account management, particularly within the centrifugal compressor market or related heavy industry sectors.
