Position Overview :
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying leads to create opportunities for the sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and are motivated to build a career in sales.
Responsibilities :
- Proactively reach out to potential clients via outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
- Research and identify target accounts, key decision-makers, and potential opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads through discovery calls to determine fit and interest.
- Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop strategic outreach plans for top target accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities in the CRM (e.g., Bullhorn, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and company offerings to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Follow a structured outreach process (e.g., 10x10 strategy: 10 touches over 10 weeks).
- Provide feedback to marketing and leadership on outreach effectiveness and lead quality.
Qualifications :
- 0-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a competitive mindset and team-player attitude.
- Ability to build rapport and engage with decision-makers across multiple channels.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Bullhorn, Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
