Job Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: Owings Mills, MD (100% Onsite)
Team: Asset Management Team - Desktop Operations
Pay Rate: $23-$26 per hour
Job Description:
Our client seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join our Asset Management Team in Owings Mills, MD. This is a full-time, onsite position with no hybrid option. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of TRP devices and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the lifecycle of TRP devices.
- Support the daily distribution and tracking of desktop equipment and peripherals to associates.
- Receive, track, and update Coupa orders and ServiceNow tickets.
- Ship equipment to both the interoffice and associates' homes.
- Perform inventory and data reconciliation.
- Image PCs and loaner laptops, and occasionally install and troubleshoot software.
- Prepare desktops and other equipment for disposition, including removing extra components and erasing all data from assets leaving the firm.
- Work closely with Desktop Support to ensure tickets and equipment are adequately recorded and available for deployment in ServiceNow.
- Augment current Asset Management staff to meet lease replacement schedules and complete other Asset Management responsibilities.
- Handle approximately 2000 PCs to be returned over the next 6 months and assist with various projects related to Return to Office and facilities renovations.
- Follow processes for creating new asset records in ServiceNow to begin lifecycle management, shipping, and receiving responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with ServiceNow (preferred).
- Proficiency in Excel for tracking purposes.
- Experience in inventory operations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with work schedules (11 AM - 8 PM or 12 PM - 9 PM EST).
