Role: Senior Manager Data Operations Pharma


You will be responsible for :


  • Act as the primary onshore liaison between the client and offshore teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of business requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives. Conduct regular governance meetings, providing status updates and discussing performance metrics
  • Oversee day-to-day BAU operations, including incident management, data discrepancy resolution, and SLA adherence.
  • Ensure operational processes are executed effectively and efficiently, adhering to quality standards.
  • Drive issue resolution by coordinating with cross-functional teams and leveraging predefined runbooks and SOPs.
  • Monitor and report operational performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks and incidents.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the data operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to implement new technologies or processes to improve data quality and operational accuracy.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with client-specific data governance and security policies.
  • Identify risks related to operational tasks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all BAU activities.


Your impact:

About you:


• 12–15 years of experience in data operations or related fields, with at least 5 years in a client-facing engagement lead role.

• Proven expertise in managing BAU operations for large-scale data projects.

• Experience working with cross-functional, onshore-offshore delivery models.

• Familiarity with data tools and platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), ETL tools (Informatica, IICS), and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI).

• Strong understanding of SLA/KPI management and operational metrics.

• Knowledge of incident and problem management frameworks, leveraging ITIL practices.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude.
