Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for IBM MQ , IBM IIB , and related Middleware platforms , ensuring operational health and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support and maintenance for IBM MQ v9 , IBM ACE v12 , and Middleware platforms.
• Manage Linux-based environments , including advanced scripting and system operations on Linux OS .
• Assist in the planning and execution of upgrades for MQ and IIB, including the installation of FixPacks and iFixes .
• Respond to and resolve MTS Middleware support requests efficiently.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure platform availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Be open and flexible to work in areas beyond MQ and IIB as needed.

Capabilities and Skills:

• Extensive experience with IBM MQ and IBM IIB/ACE , including resource creation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting for automation.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize Middleware environments effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with development teams and TechOps support teams effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ v9 and IBM ACE v12 (very nice to have).
• A proactive and adaptable attitude toward learning and supporting technologies beyond MQ and IIB.
