Our client is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their growing team in Midland, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware and procedures to solve systems' problems. i.e., application, database, server, storage, network, security, NOC, etc.
• Administers Aris infrastructure and systems (cloud and on-premise) as necessary to maintain the security, integrity, and usability of all systems tied to the Aris information asset.
• Ensures stable performance through continuous performance tuning and alerting.
• Participates and leads the troubleshooting effort during incidents.
• Stays apprised of emerging best practices, technologies and suggest them when applicable
• Experience with Cisco (meraki) networking equipment
• Familiar with firewall and proxy procedures and activities
• Routing and protocol experience
• Experience with application load balancing equipment.
• Knowledge of WAN redundancy.
• Mapping and documentation skills.
• Previous usage of industry network monitoring tools.
• Usage of virtualization and networking in a virtual environment.
• Thorough understanding of VLAN structures.
• Wi-Fi security and configuration. - Preferably with HP Aruba Wireless a plus
• Sr. level of Switching & Routing (OSPF, Switching, VLAN, EIGRP, BGP).
