Network Engineer

Great opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer to work with an incredible growing company!

This candidate needs to have a diverse technical background, including support of production operations and networking/infrastructure. We are looking for a versatile candidate who is able to spend 20% of their time on IT Support and 80% on other activities including, but not limited to, the responsibilities listed below.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 5+ years of professional industry experience
• Active Directory experience; 0365 experience
• SonicWall and/or Fortinet Firewall Administration
• Understanding of VPN setup and Configuration, Site to Site, vs Client to Site.
• PCI familiarity and a good Understanding of Network Security and Administration.
• Understanding between difference between switch, router and firewall, how they work
• Understanding of Subnetting IP Space, Public vs Private, Class vs Classless IP subnetting.
• Understanding Endpoint Security software such as Microsoft Defender Security and Administration. (CrowdStrike also works)
• Security and administration for Active directory Domains, Windows, and Server Versions
• Understanding of System Architecture and Design. VPN architecture and design
• Understanding of hypervisors; (snapshots, storage, VSAN) and virtualization (shared hardware across multiple servers)
• Understanding and Troubleshooting Servers as part of OSI Stack. Windows Server 2012 and higher.
• Understanding of windows Servers, such as DHCP, DNS, GPO services; Server hardware configuration, design, and maintenance
• Administration of 0365 and email; understanding of spam service configuration in O365.
• Understanding of vulnerability vs penetration scans
• On call and emergency services readiness
