Job Description

We are a Managed and Cloud Services Provider that is looking for a Senior System Administrator (MSP) to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional IT solutions for our clients. In this project-focused position, you will lead the design, deployment, and support of advanced infrastructure solutions while mentoring junior team members. As a Senior System Administrator (MSP), you’ll tackle a variety of technical challenges and help ensure smooth operations for clients across multiple industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IT projects, such as server upgrades, network deployments, and virtualization solutions, as a senior system administrator (MSP).
  • Deploy and configure Hyper-V and VMware virtual environments to optimize client infrastructures.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Fortinet and Meraki firewalls, VLANs, and secure network solutions.
  • Perform Windows Server migrations, upgrades, and installations, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Provide escalation support for complex system and network issues as a senior system administrator (MSP).
  • Conduct on-site client visits to assess requirements, implement solutions, and foster strong relationships.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth.
  • Document project plans, system configurations, and post-implementation processes for transparency and client success.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend new technology solutions to enhance service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Strong background in Managed IT Services.
  • Expertise with Windows Server environments, Hyper-V, VMware, Fortinet firewalls, and Meraki networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and execute IT projects from planning through completion.
  • Strong troubleshooting and escalation skills to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Passion for staying current with evolving technologies and best practices in IT services.
