Responsibilities:
- Extract financial data and analyze results of studies to identify trends and variances to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial and operational KPI reports in Power BI dashboards to support the organization’s accounting function.
- Participate in monthly analysis of results and forecasts.
- Assist in annual budgeting and planning by preparing budget documents, creating forecasts, and supporting business units with formatting requirements.
- Review monthly financial reports, analyze variances, and recommend actions to capitalize on positive trends or address negative ones.
- Validate financial forecasts, coordinate with the corporate financial analysis team, and support capital investment evaluations.
- Lead or assist in special projects to drive operational improvements and enhance the quality of financial data across business units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong preference for experience in accounting and financial analysis within logistics operations.
- 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience required.
- A CPA designation or MBA degree is a strong plus
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of operational ERP systems such as Workday or MS Dynamics 365, and Power BI preferred.
