About the client:
Our client is an innovative digital pharmacy platform, providing patients with easy access to physician advice and pharmacy products. Operating as a closed-door, office-type pharmacy, we leverage digital communication to interact with our patients. Their mission is to transform how Canadians receive medical advice and prescriptions.
Role Overview:
They are seeking a pharmacist, who is open to working on weekends and has strong management skills to join their dynamic and growing team. You will be responsible for
managing pharmacy operations, including patient counseling, filling prescriptions, and
coordinating with prescribers, while embracing our digital-first approach all while working in a very friendly, supportive office environment. There will not be any face to face interactions with patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient counseling and ensure high-quality care
- Check and fill prescriptions accurately
- Communicate effectively with prescribers and other healthcare professionals
- Support pharmacy operations with potential management duties
Skills & Qualifications:
- Empathy and strong understanding of patient needs
- Excellent digital, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong focus on detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Management experience is a plus
Key Requirements:
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
