Guidewire BA (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months initial contract, possible extension
Location: Toronto, ON, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Hybrid position, 2-3d/w onsite in Toronto mandatory
This is a Business BA; must have Guidewire ClaimCenter and PloicyCenter experience
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire Claims Center and Policy Center.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize claims and policy operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
System Configuration: Work closely with technical teams to configure and customize Guidewire applications to meet business needs.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, conduct testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and offer ongoing support to ensure effective system utilization.
Must have skills:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a focus on Guidewire ClaimsCenter and PolicyCenter.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire applications, business process modeling, and requirements documentation.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
