Job Title : Senior Technical Business Analyst / Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Location : Hybrid (Vancouver, 3 days/week in office)

Contract : 6 months (Extension likely)

Hours : 40/week

Status : Inc or T4

Overview :

This role focuses on POS integrations, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to support new market openings and ensure smooth production operations.

Responsibilities :

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for complex initiatives.
• Map business processes and workflows.
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to align project scope.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment and delivery.
• Assist with new store openings in international markets (legal, tax, user experience).
• Support system design and integration with cloud technologies (AWS, API, Kafka).

Required Skills :

• 8-10 years of experience as a Systems/Business Analyst, 5+ years in IT.
• 3+ years of POS experience.
• Strong knowledge of business processes in large-scale retail.
• Experience with cloud technologies and integrations (AWS, API, Kafka).
• Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred :

• Retail and international market expansion experience.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence.
