Job Title: Dispatch / Routing Supervisor

In this role, you will accountable for routing and dispatching 15-20 city drivers making multiple stops throughout southern Ontario. The focus of this role is to create efficient routes and dispatch the driver team, dealing with employee issues as they arise. Experience with TMS / routing software is required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Supervise and direct the activities of drivers.
• Plan daily routes which include multi-stop deliveries and back haul shipments.
• Hold drivers accountable to meet company expectations initiatives.
• Communicate with customers any delays or issues proactively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of dispatch experience in trucking or courier transportation.
• 2+ years of route planning experience within Ontario – must be familiar with transit times etc across southern Ontario, and particularly the Greater Toronto Area.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $75,000 range (commensurate with experience) plus bonus opportunity and benefits.
