Role: MDM Developer

- We seek an experienced Data Protection Engineer to join our data security team focusing on risk assessment risk scoring data labelling remediation of PII & Secrets data classifier creation & tuning and On-Prem & Cloud data source integrations using BigID.
- The ideal candidate will leverage BigID Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and other tools to ensure data confidentiality integrity and availability.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify sensitive data exposure and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain data classification policies taxonomies and frameworks.
- Utilize BigID for data discovery/scanning mapping monitoring and remediation of PII & Secrets data.
- Expertise in BIGID Remediation Retention & Risk applications.
- Create and tune classifiers to improve data detection accuracy.
- Design and implement data labelling using Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
- Integrate various data sources into BigID including cloud storage databases and file shares.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection compliance.
- Develop and maintain data protection policies procedures and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data protection/engineering.
- BigID certification or equivalent experience? Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) expertise.
- Strong knowledge of data security risk assessment and compliance.
- Experience with data classification discovery and monitoring.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GDPR HIPAA CCPA).
