Job Description
Candidates must have previous customer service experience within a call center environment to be considered.
This is a 2nd shift position which includes working on Sundays.
Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Schedule: 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, off on Saturday and Wednesday. Must have the flexibility to work holidays.
Salary: Full-time, $20/hr plus benefits
Location: Thorofare, NJ 08086
Overview:
The Customer Service Representative position is the first point of contact a customer has with our organization. In this role you will be responsible for interacting with customers over the phone and through email. You will also be responsible for entering and processing all orders for products that are received over the phone, through voice mail, fax, and the internet. The Customer Service Representative develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with customers with a thorough understanding of the company's products through experience, education, or on-the-job learning.
  • Process and enter orders received by phone, voice mail, fax, and internet into the system.
  • Manage daily orders for select customers and ensure all orders are entered accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Inform customers of prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays and any additional information needed by customer.
  • Follow up with customers as necessary to inform them of the status of the orders, including pricing changes, shortages, and/or delays.
  • Resolve customer problems, such as shipping or invoicing problems, etc., or refer customer questions to the appropriate person.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma; six (6) months experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Technically savvy, able to work with and optimize multiple software packages such as Microsoft Office and internal software.
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
