Job Description

Health network located in Queens, NY is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CFO and VP, Finance. The Executive Assistant's primary role involves collaborating closely with the EVP/CFO and other hospital staff members. This position will be based in Jamaica, New York, with interviews and testing conducted in Melville, Long Island, New York.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years supporting high level executives within a corporate setting.

The position is paying up $95K and the firm is looking to hire ASAP

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily office operations, serving as a confidential assistant, and communicating sensitive information to administration.
  • Maintaining calendars for the EVP/CFO and coordinating meetings across two facility offices, ensuring he is informed of all relevant matters. Additionally, routing documents for signature, maintaining files, and overseeing supply and equipment orders.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries and complaints, including those related to parking, and managing records and monitoring parking vouchers for various departments.
  • Updating and maintaining insurance bills, obtaining Certificates of Insurance (COIs), distributing vehicle insurance cards and titles.
  • Handling Malpractice Insurance Payments promptly.
  • Managing Kronos timekeeping for payroll.


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and adapt actions accordingly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
  • Effective multitasking and coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrated principled leadership and adherence to ethical business practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
