Position Summary:
This role involves collaborating with Account Executives, Account Managers, the PMO, and clients to create innovative, unique, and cost-effective temporary and semi-permanent POP displays, store signage, decor, and packaging. An additional valuable skill set includes production art and design, supporting the creation of original and adapted content for prototypes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create, design, and output dimensional POP displays and packaging (folding cartons) utilizing ArtiosCAD.
- Output detailed technical documentation.
- Work with all Account Executives and Account Managers across Imagine.
- Work collaboratively with other creative design team members for rapid ideation.
- Work closely with the estimating department to determine production costs and savings.
- Collaborate with production departments to optimize designs for our production capabilities.
- Meet and work closely with clients in a consultative, ethical, and professional manner.
- Travel both locally and nationally as required.
- Work safely and abide by established safety policies and procedures. Identify and follow-up on unsafe conditions.
- Participate in implementation of process improvement for internal/external customers through data collection, standardized procedures, and teamwork.
- Be able to identify factors critical to quality as determined by the customer and translate to production team.
- This position will float between POP display and packaging work as demand requires.
- Creation of instruction sheets for your designs.
- Develop innovative, strategic, and innovative design solutions across mediums from concept through implementation that translate, support, and activate our customer’s brands.
- Oversee production of deliverables while coordinating internal management and timelines.
- Provide perspectives on design and brands for both internal discussion and client meetings.
- Participate in the creative and strategic brainstorming process.
- Stay current with market research and development efforts within the industry including graphic and visual trends.
- May accompany Account Executives on occasion to present new products or designs to customers or prospects.
- Analyze changes in the industry and research innovations in equipment that can be adapted to company operations
Mandatory Qualifications:
- College degree in industrial design, packaging, or merchandising designs and/or 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in projects that use multiple materials (plastics, paperboard, corrugated, motion, lights).
- Proficiency in digital design software and tools as well as the creation of typical outputs.
- A willingness to broaden expertise to other areas of design while refining proficiency in primary abilities.
- Ability to quickly concept multiple design solutions and evaluate directions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a highly collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Art and layout preparation
- Experience in 3D modeling (SolidWorks)
- Experience with 3D Printing
- Materials research & development
Knowledge and Skills:
- ArtiosCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of Digital Cutters (i.e., Kongsberg, Zund)
- Knowledge of Engineering
- Knowledge of manufacturing
- Knowledge of Retail environments
- Mockup sample creation
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional walking.
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
- Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time working with computers.

The national pay range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
