JOB DESCRIPTION

Top law firm is seeking an associate with 4-7 years of capital markets experience to join their widely recognized Corporate Finance and Capital Markets practice. The group structures and executes complex, market-leading financial transactions for clients across today's major industries and in countries and regions around the world. Our more than 125 lawyers, located in the firm's U.S., European, and Asian offices, collaborate with each other and other practice teams to execute domestic and cross-border transactions efficiently and seamlessly.

The group is particularly strong in raising permanent capital, representing private equity firms and portfolio companies on IPO exits and debt financings, and in the life sciences industry for cross-border and domestic IPOs and other equity and debt offerings. The group is also a leader in representing sovereign issuers and other market participants in sovereign bond offerings. In fact, Bloomberg, The Legal 500 and IFLR 1000, among other league tables and industry sources, have reported on the practice's achievements.
Salary is $310,000+ commensurate with class year and experience.
We are looking for:

• Experience representing issuers, underwriters and placement agents in public offerings, private placements and other securities offerings, including compliance with, and reporting under, the 1933 Act and 1934 Act
• Permanent capital and M&A experience is helpful
• Experience in the life sciences industry is a plus
• Large law firm experience required
