Job Summary
The Development Associate | Owner's Rep - High-rise Condo Development will oversee the development processes of our condominium projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the real estate sector and be passionate about delivering the highest standard of projects.
Key Responsibilities of the Development Associate | Construction & Acquisition High-rise Condo Development:
- Conduct comprehensive research to support various development functions, such as acquisitions, due diligence, impact fees, utility costs, and market analysis.
- Assist the VP of Development or Senior Manager with tasks related to real estate projects, including feasibility studies, financial modeling, permit applications, and coordination with architects, contractors, and local authorities.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, architects, surveyors, and other professionals involved in project development.
- Organize, manage, communicate, and implement the development process, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Prepare detailed pro forma operating statements, construction, and operating budgets, and other necessary financial documentation.
- Solicit and integrate feedback from sales, marketing, and operational teams during and after the development process.
- Support overall project management by tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Report project progress and critical issues to senior management, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Qualifications of Development Associate | Construction & Acquisition High-rise Condo Development:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on multifamily or mixed-use projects.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and/or project management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating with ownership, consultants, local jurisdictions, general contractors, and future residents.
