Job Description
Detail-oriented individual is a must for a Digital Marketing Specialist. The responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist assists with planning marketing campaigns and ensuring marketing projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for generating brand awareness, implementing online marketing strategies, and generating higher traffic numbers.
To be successful as a Digital Marketing Specialist you must be resourceful and strategic planning skills are imperative.
Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
• Works with Chris Weatherhead (CMO) and Shianne Motter (Marketing Strategist) to create a marketing strategy and map out the tasks needed to implement that strategy.
• Collaborate with the team to create advertising content.
• Assist the team with managing a content calendar and sticking to deadlines.
• Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns.
• Create web content for all our websites including blog posts, splash pages and more
• Coordinates and produces blog articles, social media posts and other online content.
• Grow our email list organically through social media efforts and other online initiatives
• Manage various social media campaigns, including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for all our primary brand channels.
• Create email content for both internal and consumer initiatives (using HubSpot)
Supplier Relations Responsibilities:
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all our suppliers.
• Representing the MVT Marketing Team at in-person events throughout the year.
Social Media Responsibilities:
• Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing, and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
• Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
• Using analytical tools such as SEMtush, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, HubSpot and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
• Prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
• Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
• Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
