Job Title: Field Technician – Fiber/Conduit Specialist
Location: Berwick, Pennsylvania – Must reside within 45 miles of the job site
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Daytime shifts, occasional overtime)

Job Summary: We seek a reliable and motivated Field Technician with fiber construction and conduit knowledge to join our team. This role involves inspecting, auditing, and documenting manhole infrastructure while ensuring safety and accuracy in the field. If you're detail-oriented, willing to work outdoors, and possess or can obtain relevant certifications, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections and audits in public right-of-way areas.
- Remove manhole lids, take photographs and document infrastructure.
- Record information about conduits, fiber size, and quantity.
- Walk from manhole to manhole (spaced approximately 500-1,000 feet apart).
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Fiber construction and conduit knowledge.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk long distances daily.
- Strong attention to detail for documentation and audits.
Nice-to-Have Certifications (can be obtained before starting):
- OSHA 10 (Construction) Certification.
- Confined Space Certification.
