Job Title: Benefits Specialist

Location: Onsite in Salem, Oregon

Compensation: $25-$28 per hour

Contract Duration: 2-month contract with possibility of permanent hire


Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is seeking a self-drivena and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to join our client's team in Salem, Oregon. Our client is known for helping many people and doing great things in the community! At least intermediate Excel skills are a requirement for this role, as well as 3+ years of experience either coordinating or managing benefits within HR. Our client is ready to bring someone on immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and provide guidance on plan options.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits information.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and other third-party vendors.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and provide ongoing education to employees about their benefits.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or a similar role.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
