Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Elementary Resource Room)

Location: Wasco County, Oregon

Contract Duration: ASAP – End of the School Year

Hours: Full-Time, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Onward Search is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join an elementary resource room team in Wasco County, OR . This full-time position supports approximately 25-30 students and runs through the end of the school year.

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide instruction and support in both individual and small group settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Oregon Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement.
• Previous experience working in a resource room or special education setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
