Job Title: Behavior Special Education Teacher

Location: Clackamas County, Oregon

Contract Duration: January 6th – June 13th, 2025

Hours: Full-Time, 8:10 AM – 4:10 PM

Onward Search is seeking a dedicated Behavior Special Education Teacher to join a middle school team in Clackamas County, Oregon. This role focuses on creating a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment for students with behavioral and emotional challenges, fostering both academic and emotional growth.

Job Duties:

• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Implement behavioral interventions, structured classroom management, and systems-oriented support.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and staff to create individualized learning plans.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic development.
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Oregon Teaching License in Special Education
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
• Strong background in behavioral interventions and classroom management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
