Job Description: As a Superintendent, you will oversee and manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules, and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up construction, K-12 schools, commercial buildings, and multifamily developments.
- Ensure project schedules are maintained, and deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress and address any delays or challenges promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address on-site needs and resolve issues.
- Oversee quality control to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed project documentation.
- Provide leadership and direction to subcontractors and construction crews.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience managing ground-up construction, K-12, commercial, and multifamily projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or construction-related education is a plus.
